Building Self-Reliant and Balanced Society
Social Action for Rural Community (SARC) is a non-profit organization working in Western Odisha since 1996 for the upliftment of marginalized and underprivileged communities.
We believe in participatory development through action & research, capacity building, networking and advocacy to address poverty, promote gender equality, ensure social justice and create sustainable livelihoods.

Sustainable Agriculture & Livelihoods
Promoting climate-resilient agriculture, IFS, crop diversification and improved farming practices.
WADI Tribal Development
Orchard based livelihood model for tribal farmers integrating fruits, vegetables and sustainable practices.

Strengthening SHGs, promoting financial inclusion, leadership and entrepreneurship for rural women.
Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)
Building strong farmer collectives for better market linkage, income and value addition.
One Stop Centre for Women
Providing integrated support and assistance to women affected by violence including legal, medical, counseling and shelter services.
